Jeg blev færdig som sociolog i 1972, men begyndte først at skrive artikler til tidsskrifter i midten af 1980’erne. I de første mange år var det ikke noget, vi lagde særlig vægt på, idet den primære målgruppe var offentligheden, beslutningstagerne og fagbevægelsen. Siden fik piben en anden lyd, og jeg fik chancen for at skrive artikler sammen med gode og engagerede kolle­ger fra såvel Danmark som en lang række andre lande. Det har været et stort privilegium at have været aktiv i en periode, hvor man frit kunne vælge både emner og medforfattere uden nogen særlig indblanding ovenfra. Som man kan se, bærer min litteraturliste præg af dette. Mine medforfattere er fra Brasilien, Japan, Taiwan, Kina, Canada, USA og stort set alle europæ­iske lande. Og emnerne er lige så forskellige: Hjertesygdomme, udbrændthed, fravær, stress, selvvurderet helbred, indeklima, bly i blodet, passiv rygning,  sædkvalitet, brystcancer, ryg­problemer, spørgeskemaer, social kapital, forebyggelse, forskningsmetoder og meget mere. I dag ville man nok få at vide, at der fuldstændig mangler fokus.

De fleste af de artikler, der er nævnt i min liste over artikler, har jeg ikke nogen elektronisk udgave af. Hvis man har behov for det, kan jeg måske hjælpe med en fotokopi på gammeldags facon. Mange af de nyere artikler kan man dog finde nedenfor.
